Celebrate YOUR Library during National Library Week!

Old library frontLocated on the corner of Maple Avenue and Walnut Street in the town of Newfane, Newfane Free Library is open six days a week with evening hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Our facility offers four computers with Internet access and printing capability for the public to use as well as WiFi.

Materials to check out include: audiobooks, movies, magazines, CDs, and of course, books, from children's picture books to adult non-fiction. Large print materials are also available. We also offer puzzles to take home - if you have any to donate, we'd love to have them!

Materials that you can browse through but can't check out include local newspapers and our local history collection.

Photocopying is available in black and white only at 25 cents per page, 35 cents for a double-sided copy. We are waiting for our NEW color photocopier, which should arrive in 1-2 weeks! Faxing is also available at $1.00 for the first page sent, 50 cents for each additional page. Faxes received MUST have the person's name and phone number clearly labeled, and is 25 cents per page.

The picture of our library on this page was taken in mid 1950s - 1960s. The orginal building was built in 1953, with the addition going on in 1974. For more information, check out our Library History page!
